TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction: By completing a purchase on our website, the purchaser acknowledges and accepts not only the terms and conditions set out on this page, but also the specific policies, features, and conditions indicated on each individual product page related to the ticket purchase. Payment of the agreed amount, whether as a deposit or as full settlement, constitutes full acceptance of all applicable terms and policies.

2. Ticket Rates and Purchase Terms: By proceeding with the purchase, the purchaser confirms acceptance of the ticket prices and the specific purchase terms related to the chosen option. In addition, a 5% booking fee applies as indicated during the reservation process, and its payment is considered accepted upon completing the transaction.

3. Ticket Delivery, Type and Usage: Upon completing the purchase, the purchaser will receive e-tickets by email. These may serve either as valid entry passes for the reserved position or as vouchers to be exchanged for physical tickets in Siena. In all cases, our staff will contact the purchaser (to the email address provided during the booking process) in the weeks leading up to the Palio to provide detailed instructions regarding access, or to indicate the meeting point (location, date, and time) where the physical tickets will be delivered. The purchaser expressly acknowledges and accepts that physical tickets will not be shipped by mail and that no alternative delivery methods will be accepted other than those established by the Company.

4. Customer cancellation and refunds: If the purchaser is unable to attend the event and provides cancellation notice, a refund may be granted only if a new buyer for the ticket package is found either by the purchaser or by the Company. In such a case, the refund will be issued net of any transaction costs incurred (including, but not limited to, credit card fees, reservation transfer fees, and/or commissions). Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date are non-refundable.

5. Rescheduled or Canceled Palio: In the event of rain, track conditions deemed unsafe, or in the event that the organization decides to postpone the event, the Palio will be rescheduled to the following day. If the race is rescheduled to a later date in the year, tickets will remain valid but will not be refundable if the purchaser is unable to attend the rescheduled race. We strongly recommend booking accommodation for at least one or two nights after the scheduled Palio date to ensure attendance in case of postponement. PLEASE NOTE that trial races, Contrada Dinners, and City Tours canceled due to adverse weather conditions will not be rescheduled and are non-refundable.

6. Liability: The Company will not be held liable for any changes, cancellations, or delays caused by force majeure, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, decisions by local authorities, or unforeseen events affecting the regular running of the Palio.

7. Travel Insurance Protection: To cover costs associated with your reservation, the Company encourages you to consider purchasing a travel insurance policy.

8. General Conditions & Disclaimers: Confirmation and payment of any reservation constitutes acceptance of the financial agreements between the Company and the Customer and the provisions of this agreement are in effect. The Company is acting as a tour operator responsible for arranging reservations for the services as outlined in the website https://paliodisiena.tickets/. All suppliers providing transportation, guided tours, and lodging for the Company have no legal affiliation, nor are they employees of the Company. The Company assumes no responsibility or liability for any claims, damages, expenses or other financial loss, whether to person or property, arising from, but not limited to, injury, accident, death, delay, alteration or inconvenience, by whatever cause, including airline scheduling, default, strike, terrorism, war, hostility, civil disturbance, quarantine, pandemic or resulting directly or indirectly from any other acts of nature. Under no circumstances is the Company to be construed as a Common Carrier under contract for safe carriage of the passenger or his/her baggage and personal belongings.

9. Articolo 54 del Codice del Consumo: Pursuant to Article 54 of the Italian Consumer Code, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of signing. However, by completing a purchase on our website, the purchaser acknowledges and expressly agrees to waive this right of withdrawal.
