This highly personal event was heightened by the help of this community and the team that made it possible to join the festivities. We are so very grateful you stepped up to help us fit in with a prized community. The Sienese people are the most proud, kind, resilient people for a true zest for life. Even though our contrada dinner was met with a serious downpour of rain, and we had missed the race due to weather, we still had a memorable time. We would love to come again if invited. Thank you to the staff and wonderful people of Siena for making this an unforgettable experience for me and my family.
I have to admit it was a leap of faith when I booked these tickets as I really didn’t know what I was going to get into. I have four other couples with me from the United States and it turned out that this was a bucket list item for a couple of the guys. We did the balcony seats and they were amazing. Actually, Madonna was at the event and I think our tickets were quite a bit better than hers… We attended a welcome reception that was put on by the host, Stan, before the event and it was in a perfect location and a great time before the main event. The Palio is hard to explain, but very amazing to see the passion that the various Contrada’s have for the event. We definitely will come back and experience this again, but it was a great time in Palio di Siena tickets did not disappoint. Not to mention that our seats overlooked where the winning jockey’s celebration took place.
