Private Window "Scotti Finestre"

A privileged viewing position located on the third floor of Palazzo Scotti, directly above the Mossa, offering a spectacular view of Piazza del Campo and the starting and finishing point of the Palio. This particularly engaging position allows you to watch the horses and jockeys from above as they line up between the canapi (starting ropes) and experience from an exceptional vantage point the tense moments leading up to the start.

The viewing position is located inside a spacious room of approximately 37 m², featuring two windows overlooking Piazza del Campo, both offering the same view. Each window is booked separately and reserved for the group purchasing it, accommodating up to a maximum of 6 people per window. Both windows may also be booked together, subject to availability, allowing a single group of up to 12 people to enjoy exclusive use of the entire room.

When booking only one window, the room will be shared with guests from the other window, while each group will have its own reserved viewing position. The windows are equipped with specially designed wooden platforms, allowing guests to stand in two rows for improved visibility during the event.

During the Palio, guests have access to a buffet with light refreshments and drinks, restroom facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi and dedicated staff providing assistance throughout the event. The viewing position is located on the third floor and is accessible by elevator.

The price shown is for one private window, regardless of the number of guests, up to a maximum of 6 people.

You must reach your viewing position by 4:45 PM. The Historical Parade (Corteo Storico) begins shortly after 5:00 PM (slightly earlier in August) and lasts approximately two hours. The Palio takes place after the parade, and the event generally ends at around 8:15 PM.

Plan a few extra days in Siena
The Palio may be postponed due to rain or if track conditions do not allow the event to take place. We recommend planning your stay to include at least the two days following the scheduled date of the Palio.

Your ticket remains valid if the Palio is postponed
Your ticket will remain valid until the Palio is actually held. If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, no refund will be provided.

Cancellations and resale
In case of cancellation by the customer, a refund is not guaranteed and is subject to the conditions set out in our Cancellation Policy. If the Palio is postponed, we do not provide a ticket resale or relocation service.

Arrive in Siena well in advance
On the day of the Palio, traffic restrictions and access limitations to Piazza del Campo will be in place. We recommend arriving well in advance and carefully following the final instructions you will receive before the event.
