An exclusive experience designed to immerse you in the Palio di Siena through some of its most authentic moments: from the traditional Cena della Prova Generale (Contrada Dinner) to discovering Siena’s historic heritage and experiencing the Palio on August 16 from a private window directly overlooking the famous San Martino turn, one of the most spectacular viewing positions in Piazza del Campo.

AUGUST 15 – CONTRADA DINNER

Cena della Prova Generale (Contrada Dinner)
In the evening, you will take part in the traditional Cena della Prova Generale (Contrada Dinner) in one of Siena’s Contrade. Long tables bring together Contrada members and guests in the streets and squares of the Contrada, creating a unique atmosphere of celebration, tradition and anticipation for the Palio.

AUGUST 16 – SIENA & PALIO

Guided Tour of Siena and the Duomo
On the morning of the Palio, a guided tour will introduce you to Siena and its fascinating history, with admission to the Duomo included.

Palio – San Martino Private Window
In the afternoon, you will experience the highlight of the package from a private window located on the third floor of an elegant historic building, directly overlooking the famous San Martino turn. This privileged viewing position offers a panoramic view of the entire track around Piazza del Campo, allowing you to watch the Historical Parade (Corteo Storico) and the different stages of the Palio from above.

The viewing position is located inside a private studio featuring two windows in adjoining, interconnected rooms. Each window is booked separately and reserved exclusively for the group purchasing the corresponding package, accommodating 5 people per window. Both windows may also be booked together, subject to availability, allowing a single group of 10 people to enjoy the experience from the two interconnected rooms.

The particular design of the windows allows guests to watch the event comfortably seated, without having to lean against the windowsill. The building can be accessed via an elegant staircase or elevator.

During the event, a buffet with food and drinks, restroom facilities and on-site assistance are provided. The buffet and restroom are located in a separate area and are shared by guests from both windows.

PLAN YOUR STAY

To enjoy the experience without rushing, we recommend arriving in Siena by August 14, so that you are already in the city for the activities scheduled on August 15.

The Palio may be postponed due to rain or if track conditions do not allow the event to take place. For this reason, we recommend planning your stay to include at least the two days following August 16. In the event of a postponement, access to your private window will remain valid until the Palio is actually held.

Important: the other activities included in the package – the Contrada Dinner and guided tour – are scheduled exclusively for the dates and times indicated and will not be rescheduled in the event of cancellation or if they cannot take place. The price shown is for one Classic Palio Experience package and includes all the activities and services described above for a group of 5 people, including exclusive use of one private window. For groups of 10 people, both packages may be purchased, subject to the availability of both windows.
