Overlooking the Casato area, this balcony offers a distinctive view of the track and of the horses and jockeys as they pass through one of the most recognizable sections of Piazza del Campo. An engaging position from which to watch the Historical Parade (Corteo Storico) and experience the excitement of the Palio up close.

The viewing position is located on an elegant first-floor panoramic terrace, in an area that remains shaded throughout the event. The ticket includes a generous buffet with a selection of food and snacks, accompanied by wine, beer, water, soft drinks and other refreshments, available throughout the event. Guests also have access to private restroom facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi and a spacious indoor lounge furnished with chairs and sofas, where they can relax before and after the Palio or take a break during the Historical Parade. Dedicated staff will be on hand to welcome and assist guests throughout the event.

You must reach your viewing position by 4:45 PM. The Historical Parade begins shortly after 5:00 PM (slightly earlier in August) and lasts approximately two hours. The Palio takes place after the parade, and the event generally ends at around 8:15 PM.

Plan a few extra days in Siena
The Palio may be postponed due to rain or if track conditions do not allow the event to take place. We recommend planning your stay to include at least the two days following the scheduled date of the Palio.

Your ticket remains valid if the Palio is postponed
Your ticket will remain valid until the Palio is actually held. If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, no refund will be provided.

Cancellations and resale
In case of cancellation by the customer, a refund is not guaranteed and is subject to the conditions set out in our Cancellation Policy. If the Palio is postponed, we do not provide a ticket resale or relocation service.

Arrive in Siena well in advance
On the day of the Palio, traffic restrictions and access limitations to Piazza del Campo will be in place. We recommend arriving well in advance and carefully following the final instructions you will receive before the event.
